Long term readers of the blog will know that there is a fellow blogger who has had quite a bit to do with Lady M over the years. I'm talking about Imelda, aka The Style Tyrant aka Matt Jordan.

The dress has played a big part in creating what you see on Lady Melbourne. Many times I choose to wear garments that themselves have a history(vintage) or ones that will create a history for me- think Subfusco.

This week I will publish my 1000th blog post here on Lady Melbourne. After 5 years in the game I've hit this milestone and can hardly believe it myself. The following blog post was a real tipping point for me and the blog- when I migrated over to Wordpress from Blogger I lost the comments but at the time this post generated over 50 comments.
