As it is the season for Spring Racing, today I set off to Flemington for the official launch of the Myer Fashions on the Field. All the state Australian finalists were in attendance and we got a little preview of some suggestions Myer had for what we might wear. I always think that Myer’s styling err’s on the side of boring but have picked out the most interesting outfits below. You can make your own mind up!
Then it was on to lunch at The Millswyn in South Yarra (how posh!) for lunch with Kyra who was my date for the launch and Cecylia from Cecylia.com. Kyra bought along Bisous Bisous her absolutely darling angora rabbit and she caught the eye of virtually everyone there having lunch. She just hopped around and didn’t seem phased at all by all the humans around her. Really quite divine.
We popped into Domain Flowers where I bought some lilacs for The Gardener’s mum who’s birthday it is tomorrow and I was told they were some of the last of the season. I love lilac, they’re so fragrant not to mention pretty.
