On Tuesday evening, I was invited by Penguin Australia to the launch of the next 50 titles in their Popular Penguin series.
I love reading so was thrilled with the invitation, plus, we all know I like a good cocktail so any excuse to combine the two is perfection in my eyes.
I digress, the Australian author Sonya Hartnett was there and gave a wonderful speech, her book ‘Of a Boy’ has been included in this round up of titles.
