I’m sure you have noticed, in fact I know that some of you have noticed because you’ve told me, that Lady M’s couch disappeared from the blog for a while.
Earlier in the year I packed up the manor and moved and it’s taken me longer than expected to get my new place ‘blog worthy.’
You will have seen snippets here and there, but as I am an ‘all or nothing’ kind of person I’ve refrained from putting too many photos up because, well, I simply haven’t been happy with them! I’m pleased to say however that I now have two lovely couches at my disposal so you can expect a return to the Lady Melbourne of old. It feels good to say that- even though it is a strange concept that I post photos of myself and my couch on the internet for all and sundry to see.
I’ve had some welcome help from the gardener( wait until you see my new balcony, almost finished!), Lulki and Mother Melbourne to get the place looking ship shape for my photos.
Here I am today making a list for everything I need as hostess for a little party I am throwing tomorrow, a sort of welcome afternoon tea for all my girlfriends. It will be photographed and blogged about of course!
