Blooming beautiful! Two Melbourne institutions launched their collaboration this week with Review Australia and Flowers Vasette showcasing a beautiful collection on Wednesday evening. If ever there was a location to launch a collection of floral and botanical prints it is Flowers Vasette, founded 35 years ago on Brunswick St Fitzroy.
I was kindly dressed for the evening in the new collection so just in case a sweet floral print isn’t your jam, there’s an entire, very wearable collection in sizes 6-18.
To execute this project, fresh flowers were arranged on large foam boards, creating intricate patterns and gorgeous colour combinations that were shot from above to create the framework for the prints, including placement prints that were directly translated onto garment patterns.
Each floral arrangement was professionally photographed at a studio, ensuring every detail was captured before the images were meticulously edited to be print-ready. The next step was to craft these prints onto natural fibres like Viscose/Linen blends, Viscose Twill, and Cotton blends, creating Review’s luxurious signature fabrics.
So yeah, you’re wearing flowers! You can check out the entire collection at the Review website linked above, or take a look at my reel below for more behind the scenes highlights x
