The Stila Stay All Day HD Illuminating Beauty Balm (um, why such a long name Stila?!) was a recent purchase where I was looking for a tinted moisturiser as we’re coming into summer here in Oz. Here were my criterion:
- Must have SPF factor of at least 15+
- Medium coverage, something more than a light tint but not a foundation
- A good consistency
- A warm colour
I also thought why not try their HUGE Extreme Mascara while I was at it because if that was good as well, I had a ‘basic’ face solution right there.
So what’s it like? Well, all of the criterion above have been met, if not exceeded as you can see in the pictures below. They were taken indoors in natural daylight and I think the pictures do both products justice. The mascara is all about length and fullness and I found that I could get really gorgeous lashes from one coat. Two was a more glam look but one you could wear during the day as well.
Overall I have to say having never tried Stila makeup before (I know!) I was super happy with both of these. At around $50 for the beauty balm you’d want it to make you glow and I think it’s worth the investment. Have you tried it? I’d love to hear!
