This is the ‘Spencer’ trench from Feathers here in Melbourne and while it’s taken me a couple of months to post about it, this absolutely wardrobe classic is still 100% en vogue.
The difference with this piece as opposed to what I’ve traditionally worn ( let me take you back to this post from 2014 – yes, that’s how long I’ve been blogging!) is that it’s much longer. I’m an average height, if you were tall I imagine this would sit mid calf? It has taken some getting used it, we don’t really need full length coats of jackets here in Australia because the weather is so temperate. So this is really more a case of it being a style choice rather than one of necessity.
