It’s A LOT I know, but because no one asked and solely because I am quite obsessed with this stuff, here is my skin care regime in its entirety.
I like to think of it like a menu, where I choose what my skin needs on any given day. None of this is sponsored, it’s products that Jo from JoSkinFitness has put me onto. Quick disclaimer here: I don’t pay for my treatments with Jo, but the agreement is complete transparency and honesty about all products and services.
If you want to know about what each product specifically does then you could Google it, but Jo is an wealth of knowledge. I am an educated consumer, not a trained expert, it’s worth saying that! That said, I have been using cosmeceuticals for around 10 years now, and I invest a lot of time and energy into understanding the ingredients and their efficacy, as should anyone really! If it doesn’t work or is cheap and nasty, its not going anywhere near my face.
Here’s my menu:
Cosmedix Benefit Clean face wash – as far as cosmeceuticals go, this is a fairly gentle cleanser.
Cosmedix Rescue Balm – absolutely MVP. This is a true balm, in that it emulsifies on your finger tips and can feel a little ‘greasy’ after application. Thats kinda the point though, it’s not called rescue for nothin.
ASPECT Skincare Purastat 5 Cleanser (the lactic acid one) – this is stronger and I’ve found I can’t use it every day, but a couple of times a week seems to keep my skin fairly clear.
ASPECT Dr Complete Pigment Punch – excellent for targeting pigment spots but also general brightness.
Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Serum – this serum has been written about
Skinceuticals Ultra Facial Defence SPF 50+
Skinceuticals Phyto Corrective Gel
Skinceuticals HA Intensifyer Hyraluronic Gel
Skinceuticals Triple Lipid Restore moisturiser (this stuff is AMAZING and really needs its own post, Google it!)
Skinceuticals Retinol .5% night cream
Watch the video below for all of the combinations I love to use!
