A new post, a new year and a new baby! More on that to come, in the mean time I thought I’d showcase these See by Chloe sandals I’ve been living in this summer. I knew I’d end up in flats more often than not with not one but two children in tow so last year I hunted down the chicest sandals, slippers, mules and slides I could find.
So what are the ‘Katie’ sandals like? They’re a gorgeous tan colour which just happens to pair with everything I own quite easily. I have found they are quite narrow, which is ok as I have relatively narrow feet but could be problematic as there’s not a lot of stretch in them. The soles are leather which I like and they have a kind of Grecian feel to them. I’ve worn them with everything from maxi dresses to jeans to wide leg linen pants.
As far as an investment goes, they are definitely not cheap and you’d be wanting to keep these for years to come. I feel like I’ll be able to do that as the style is modern, yet timeless enough that they can be styled many different ways. Fast fashion isn’t really my thing though, and specially not when it comes to shoes! I’d much rather wear a $10 op shop dress with beautifully, well made shoes and accessories. I’ve always said that accessories elevate an outfit, I’m hoping these sandals take me there!
