Flicking through a 2018 issue of Belle magazine, I was delighted by a feature called ‘Ladies who Lunch.‘
Small circular tables laid with various textiles and an eclectic mix of objects jumped off the page. Shot in bright, clear light (no doubt a studio, I’ll make do with the sun) my immediate thought was that I could recreate something similar.
My imagination pinged with ideas – Matisse and his still life paintings, André Lanskoy prints, Bonnie and Neil textiles.
God knows I own an inordinate amount of objet not to mention beautiful scarves, accessories and beauty products. I’ve collected objects on my travels since I was about 12, and still have most of the items I’ve collected over the years.
So here you are, the first of many perhaps? I hope so!
