Last week I took the dote to the opening of the Christmas Wunderland experience at Highpoint Shopping Centre here in Melbourne. Forget crappy tinsel and Santa’s elves, this is a playground for the young and young at heart providing what they call a ‘sensory adventure.’
‘What?!’ I hear you say?
The custom-built Wunderland comprises of over 10 different activities with quirky sights, sounds and smells. Everything from 3D interactive art and mirror illusions to tasty musical tunes, a candy cane jungle, and scratch and sniff walls.
It’s a contemporary and dynamic interpretation of traditional festive season and while it truly was sensory overload for a 10 month old, older children should delight.
It’s on from 2 – 24 December 2016 and you can read all about it here.
