Last year’s Pantone colour of the year was Marsala so naturally, I’m wearing it in 2016 😉 In all seriousness I only realised after I put this outfit together that I was wearing a significant amount of the colour, but isn’t it lovely for autumn/winter?
Harking back to last week’s post about trying out colours you don’t wear, it’s not really a colour I’ve worn much of in the past, mainly only in accessories like this Rebecca Minkoff bag. But I took a bit of a gamble with this River Island dress I picked up on sale at ASOS recently, in the main part because it has buttons and is perfect for breastfeeding. Which is informing most of my wardrobe choices these days – how quickly and easily can I access my boobs? Not a wardrobe dilemma I thought I would ever face!
I’m wearing a UK 10 here and usually find it’s a good size for me when I’m shopping online. Same goes for this coat from Mackage, also picked up at the Shopbop.com sale just gone. Unintentional, but they look good together no? And as for the hat, that’s a lovely little bargain from Kmart I snaffled a couple of weeks ago that you can read about here.
What I’m wearing:
Hat: Kmart
Dress: River Island
Coat: MackageÂ
Boots: Ash ‘Ilona’ booties
Bag: Zac Zac Posen
Glasses: Gucci
