Natural Instinct Uplifting Lemon Grass & Ginkgo Body Wash, $11.95
Lemongrass isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, and first thing in the morning it can be a bit of a sucker-punch depending on strength. I think Natural Instinct get it right, however, because this body wash’s fragrance will gradually fill your entire bathroom, providing an almost therapeutic effect. It’s gentle, but worked so well as an over-all cleanser. Fantastic for an energising effect, or if you enjoy an aromatic pick-me-up before your morning coffee.

Weleda Gentle Cleansing Milk, $24.95
The mild combination of natural ingredients, such as cold-pressed jojoba oil and sesame oil, along with witch-hazel extract, means that your skin is gently cleansed without drying out. This is a milk that you wipe onto the skin, and then wash off with water. I wasn’t sure at first quite about how to use it, thinking perhaps you wiped it on and off with a cotton wool pad, which I’m sure you could do as well. The smell is lovely and it’s a very gentle product, I imagine suitable for very sensitive skin.

Paul Mitchell TEA TREE SPECIAL SHAMPOO
The first bottle of this that came across my desk was gone before I could get anywhere near photographing it, let alone writing a review. It’s that good! While it’s from the tea tree range, the main fragrance for me is peppermint and lavender, its aromatics filling the bathroom while you’re using it. You don’t need a huge amount making it economical, but more importantly it actually produces results. My hair is instantly rid of all impurities and is left shiny, clean and smelling amazing. I love this shampoo!

Villa Lodola DELICATUM SHOWER GEL
Villa Lodola is located in the hills of the Upper Tiber Valley, Umbria, and produces some of Italy’s finest organic cosmetic products. Picture undulating hills, olive groves and organic farms where locals harvest all of the produce that goes into this luxury product.
The key ingredients are barley and honey extract, meaning it’s really gentle with a very light fragrance. It can be used as a shampoo or body wash and I think it would be perfect for people with sensitive skin.
