After last week’s post about my new alpaca coat and its wonderful thermal qualities (that’s right, thermal!) the other item people loved were the over the knee boots.
Purchased from Zara many moons ago, those exact boots aren’t available any more but here’s a near identical pair to enable your shopping addiction further. You’re welcome.
I digress, what I realised from the post was that I had another pair of over-the-knee-boots in black leather, that haven’t featured on the blog for years. That’s not to say that I’ve stopped wearing them, more that I simply got used to them in my every day life and thought that perhaps they weren’t special enough to feature on the pages of LM.
I wonder whether that’s an idea that crosses over not just from one’s wardrobe, but also into every day life. The dinner plates you got at a jumble sale for two dollars but that everyone loves, the antique tablecloth passed down to you from Grandma or the Panama hat you bought on holidays 10 years ago. Perhaps not remarkable to you, but exciting to those who don’t see it every day.
