A couple of months back, I blogged about how I was able to go behind the scenes at Gwendolynne and see the ‘Phoebe’ dress being made.
Well, last week she debuted on the runway at MSFW as part of Gwendolynne’s latest collection. I was really quite awestruck when she told me she was designing a dress in my namesake (just to be clear, it’s not a dress for me, or my wedding dress, it just has my name) but to see it come to life on the catwalk was a career highlight for me.
That my work has inspired a designer from concept to creation is probably one of the highest compliments I’ve ever been paid. I thank you Gwendolynne for honouring my name in this collection.
