This time of year I do get excited about Eurovision, did you catch it over the weekend?
Conchita Wurst from Austria won with her song ‘Rise Like A Phoenix,’ so I thought this dress was a fitting tribute. I love black lace in summer and winter, and while the leaves are turning golden and the days getting colder here in Oz, this type of dress is one of those trans-seasonal pieces you can wear across the seasons.
I imagine in winter I’ll be able to get away with opaque tights, boots and a leather jacket, while in the warmer months it could be worn as is, or perhaps with a pair of sandals. A lot of my wardrobe is made up of pieces that can be worn across the year, and it’s refreshing to find new ways of wearing what you already own.
