I’ve got a cold, and beauty is extremely hard to shoot when you have a cold!
I will keep up with Today’s Face, and might even post it on a different day this week, but until my actual face doesn’t look as though I’ve been lured out of a bush with a leg of mutton, outfit posts will rein supreme.
I bought this dress in New York and I don’t think it’s appeared on the blog as yet. It’s still too cold to wear it properly in Melbourne, ok to pop on for a quick photograph but bare legs in the middle of winter to do a happy woman make.
I loved the colours in this dress, and while I’ve styled it here with quite tough accessories, I think a pair of lavender, suede heels would look great with a slim, silver belt.
Or maybe you can give me your suggestions on how you’d wear it?
Also make sure you check out the makers of this amazeballs necklace, Doury. Mother and daughter Lei and Amy have always shared a love for large, extravagant jewellery but have found the sheer weight and size of such statement pieces can make them uncomfortable to wear. Not wanting to limit themselves, they decided that there must be a way of creating statement jewellery that is both glamorous and breathtaking yet weightless and comfortable. They found that the solution lay in a unique choice of raw material – leather. Lei and Amy were inspired by the softness and flexibility of leather, which allowed them to unleash their creativity and design magnificent pieces which could be worn not just as jewellery, but as pieces of art.
I wore this necklace on the plane travelling from Hong Kong and didn’t have to take it off once going through security, much to the amusement of the security guards who thought I was wearing a large, silver necklace!
