This winter I am getting around the house in a pair of Kimberly boots from Canterbury Sheepskin.
I’ve written before about the fact that I think there are certain items that shouldn’t leave the house. Ever. Like Crocs, tracksuit pants and ugg boots. That’s not to say that you can’t wear them in the comfort of your own home, just so long as they don’t cross the threashold that is your front door.
And of course I wear ugg boots, I live in Melbourne which is freezing in winter and there is nothing more luxurious than a pair of beautifully made, fleecy lined boots. I love them.
Canterbury Sheepskin footwear, apparel and accessories are proudly made in New Zealand and since it’s inception in 1974, the company has developed a reputation both locally and internationally of having a brand which is synonymous with luxury, comfort and sustainability.
The impressive collection of slippers, boots and garments are hand made by a team of artisans in its Redwood factory in Christchurch. A great deal of time and effort goes into making sure that the finest materials available are used. The sheepskin twin face that Canterbury Sheepskin use is of the finest quality, with luxuriously dense wool and fine suede. Many of their slippers and boots have removable insoles, which gives you the benefit of replacing them and will make your boots or slippers feel like new again.
The newly introduced range of “Sheepskin Wellingtons”, with a PVC ankle boot unit, a lambskin insole and sheepskin shaft mean that you can get around in them past your front door, and I know that when I was in New York for example they are loved by locals who wear them in the depths of winter pounding the snowy pavements.
So, do you love a great pair of sheepskin boots to keep you warm in winter?
