The day I tried on this dress in New York, it was 30 degrees and humid. It was hard to imagine that it was going to work on a winter’s day, but I’m glad now that I bought it.
I featured it in a post I did on why people love New York but it only got hotter and hotter and it sat at the bottom of my suitcase for the rest of the trip.
While it’s winter at the moment, we are experiencing some pretty awesome weather with sunny days and top temperatures of 18. As this dress is polyester, that’s really about the max temperature in which you’d want to wear it. I don’t buy a lot of synthetic fibre clothing, but this had everything that I love in a dress and more. Plus, I can say it’s from New York: bonus!
What I’m wearing:
Dress: Vintage consignment store, New York
Belt: ARKIVE vintage, Gold Coast Australia
Heels: RMK
Beaded purse: Anthropologie
