One Touche Éclat is sold every 10 seconds around the globe. It’s really quite staggering when you think about it. I started to use it years ago when I bought it on a trip to Europe, so when YSL asked me if I wanted to talk about the product, and of course offer you the chance to try it, it seemed quite a natural synergy.
Long term readers will know that I love to wear dramatic cat eye make up, but that for an every day look I keep things pretty simple. Rather than using Touche Éclat solely as a concealer, I use it as a highlighter to freshen up my makeup during the day. I keep one in my handbag and one at home so that when I do my makeup in the morning I can use it to conceal dark circles, and then rather than bring foundation, powder and concealer with me, I simply whip out the Touche Eclat.
In these photos I’ve used the Le Taint Touche Éclat foundation in BR30 as a base. It has SPF19 broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection, which is super important for me living under the Australian sun, and I’ve been a long-term advocate of sun protection as part of one’s beauty regime.
Then I’ve used the Touche Éclat in 2.5 to highlight my cheek bones, the ridge and sides of my nose, and above my eye brows. You can view application tips and videos on the YSL website if you’d like an expert touch.
