As I am a one woman show, it’s impossible to blog every single event during fashion week in real time. But there is still so much to blog about from last week that I haven’t yet put live and am eager to share with you.
I’ve decided to do a series of blog posts this week featuring highlights of what I saw because as usual, I loved some of it but not all!
Each year Christine Barrow of the eponymous Flinders Lane institution ‘Christine’ presents as part of a group parade. It is a highlight for me for a couple of reasons: I’d wear every single outfit that floats past me, and as I can’t afford to buy said outfits, it’s exciting to see them up close. Christine features labels such as Sonia Rykiel, Etro and Lanvin to name but a few.
I always feel as thought she presents outfits that are perfectly Parisian chic, but that fit into a Melbourne context seamlessly. I’d love to know what you think because it’s obviously not everyone’s cup of tea!
Before you get to see the photos I do need to mention that the lovely Cheryl from Businesschic.com.au was Lady Melbourne’s official photographer for the week. You can hire Cheryl or invite her along to your rad events if for no other reason than that she’s great company and takes amazing photos.
