Two of the most impressive shows from yesterdays parades were Bec & Bridge and Ellery. Bec & Bridges Paradiso Bianco collection while still very Sydney-centric a la Talulah(mentioned in this post) was more wearable broken down and styled with your every day wardrobe. It was fresh, light but sophisticated.
Ellery used another emerging theme (aside from florals which are EVERYWHERE) with metallic fabric and leathers. It will no doubt be a huge success because let’s face it, Ellery is the darling of the Australian fashion scene but I loved it and thought that it was quirky enough to transfer to a Melbourne setting which loves its black or anything particularly unusual.
