Really, who doesn’t love to get a bunch of beautiful flowers? And in this digital age, who doesn’t love to have them delivered? I love roses, white in particular and I’ve posted numerous photos over the years of the fresh flowers that fill my house each week.
It was a lovely invitation then when Roses Amore got in contact to see if I would like to offer this exclusive prize for Lady Melbourne readers to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 12th. Two dozen large Colombian roses gift wrapped and delivered to mum’s door- perfection!
Here is a little bit about Roses Amore:
“At Roses Amore we specialise in bringing premium Colombian roses direct to you. Why Colombia? Because it has the best natural growing environment for flowers in the world, and after decades of perfecting growing methods their product is recognised globally as top shelf.
In addition to providing beautiful flowers to countries across the world, Colombian flower farms employ over 200,000 workers and assist in providing stability and development for the communities around them.”
The biggest difference that I learnt after my visit to Roses Amore HQ(quite literally on my way to the airport for fashion week!) is that Colombian roses are considerably larger than normal roses. I was amazed at what I saw in the cool room and on the warehouse floor- they can import single stem roses that are two metres long. TWO METRES.
They work with farmers and families who’ve been growing roses for years and the roses are sustainably grown and certified by VeriFlora.
But onto the prize and what you can win for mum!
The prize:
12 large pink and white Colombian roses
Ferrero Rocher chocolates
Rocheford Pinot Rose 2010
$30 My Spa Voucher
