Wearing: Limedrop Silk Waterfall Cape Top and Sheer 3/4 Skirt
Limedrop designers Clea Garrick and Nathan Price create their collections from the most amazing studio based in Melbourne’s Fitzroy. Aside from their workspace and collections the space has little kitsch elements dotted around the place and the longer you are there, the more you tend to discover as you can see from the photos below.
Together they have created a men’s and womenswear line known for its use of clear lines, bold colours, structured pieces and curious proportions. Above I’m wearing a waterfall cape top that flutters along behind you as you walk but is cropped at the front- business up front, party out the back you could say.
They have an online store that for all you readers overseas is well worth checking out and there may or may not be a rather fabulous sale coming up. Just sayin!
I always love to share with you hidden fashion treasures from Melbourne and Limedrop is just one of those. Their star is on the rise having taken out the Chambord Shine Awards last year (covered here on Lady Melbourne), hosting pop up shops and showing at Australian Fashion Week. Melbourne based, if Limedrop aren’t already on your radar they should be.
Above and below is the current collection that’s available in their online store.
Flowers from their recent pop up shop in Sydney.
A sneak peek at next seasons fabric.
And just because they are gorgeous people we’re hosting a give away that could see you win this beautiful silk shirt below. The print is $1 and $2 Australian gold coins and I’m told took quite a lot of work to generate.
