I love you guys you know that? Whenever I am stuck and need advice on what ever topic it is I turn to my readers and sure enough I can find the answer. Case in point: yesterdays blog post was on how to wear this beautiful silk vintage dress in winter, and if it was at all possible. My leaning was towards wearing it with black, but Karolina suggested grey with over the knee boots, along the lines of something Willow might present.
I haven’t yet worn these boots this year, but they’ve been on the blog before– a gift from my brother who was at the time living in London. As soon as I put the grey against the butter colour I knew it was ‘right.’ I’ve also paired it with a new winter coat I bought last year during my time as an Editor of Lustable and again as yet haven’t had a chance to wear. I’m still very much leaning towards working it against black, for no other reason than that I think it will make the buttery lemon silk just pop.
Anyhow along the lines of working it with a grey pallet, I’ve got a few options here for varying weather in winter which we all know is a daily occurrence here in Melbourne!
