Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be showing you how I’ve been re-decorating my apartment and mostly it’s been done on a budget. It’s generally how I like to shop(with the odd luxury item thrown in) so hopefully you’ll find some of my ideas inspiring. I’m no expert in this field, I’ve gone with what most people do when they’re redecorating: choose what they like.
The cushions above for example I made myself with fabric I picked up on sale at Spotlight. I had been shopping around for cushions and found that most of the ones I liked started at $30 each. Knowing that cushion covers were possibly one of the easiest things to make even if you can’t sew I set out to find some really beautiful fabrics and make my own.
This is actually some wall paper that I picked up from Fanantique in Brighton. Elizabeth the owner is just divine, if you are looking for amazing wall paper then make sure you go in and see her. Tell her Lady M says hi 🙂
I bought this print at Savers and re-framed it myself.
An oldie but a goodie, I’ve had this cuckoo clock for a while now and it’s been on the blog plenty of times before. I picked it up for $2 from a junky, random ‘$2’ shop.
