Yesterday I visited the Blueprint Trade Fair that showcased designers from all over south east Asia. It was fantastic to be introduced to labels that I had not been aware of but that are clearly making their mark on the scene here.
I caught a couple of parades but as usual it was the accessories that caught my eye and I am truly in love with Vice and Vanity.
As it was the last night we were supposed to go to the wrap party at Zouk, but word on the street was that Henry Holland was going to be dj’ing later on so after a lightning pit stop at the hotel to change we headed back to Blueprint.
It was so great to meet bloggers from all over the region that had been flown in for the week, some of them were celebrities in their own right so it was kind of funny to see people falling over themselves to get photos of what looked like rather fashionable but every day people to me.
Henry Holland did indeed arrive and take over the decks, or should I say iTunes but no one seemed to care that he couldn’t mix, as long as he played the crowd favourites like Gaga and Madonna we were happy.
One of the craziest after parties I’ve ever been to and now the most memorable.
The amazing work from Vice and Vanity.
Aaron Kao and Vivi Lim of Vice and Vanity at the Blueprint Trade Fair. Of course I am now sorry that I didn’t buy one of their AMAZING necklaces- on sale and all!
Lionel Deng from Bobo Baroque who Singapore Elle magazine says is THE next Tavi with Jessie. Watch out for this one!
Blogger delight, it was impossible to learn everyone’s names so I do feel bad that I can’t tell you all who’s who in the Zoo!
Henry Holland of House of Holland.
Me and Lionel of Bobo Baroque. He was so cute, only 15!
Me and Bryan Boy who I hit the dance floor with to dance the night away while Henry Holland spun some tunes.
Henry Holland, Aizat Aidid from Glam Magazine Malaysia and Joyce, editor of Kinky Blue Fairy.
