Shortly I shall be packing up the manor, and hustling myself, the maids and his Lordship on a tour of the continent and Hong Kong. There will be much sightseeing done but you don’t come here every day to see me standing in front of monuments, so for the purposes of the blog, I’m treating it like a shopping odyssey instead.
First stop is Hong Kong and I am thrilled and excited that I get to explore what I have been told is a dynamic, bustling city.
I’ve noted down all the markets I need to visit, and am holding off all beauty product purchases duty free because I’m told Sasa is like a beauty addicts Mecca.I can’t seem to find much on second hand shopping in Hong Kong, so if anyone has any suggestions please send them my way.
Then it’s onto London and Paris with a few other cities thrown in.
I found this wonderful link on The Cherry Blossom Girl’s page for a visitor’s guide to Paris, which made me think that I should probably do one for Melbourne. I have been to Paris a few times but always love to find new, hidden gems so if you are willing to share your shopping secrets it will be between you, me and the blog.
London always lift’s my skirt to borrow a phrase from my despotic friend Imelda, and it’s there that I plan on making most of my vintage clothing purchases. If there is anywhere you believe LM should see whilst on her journeys please feel free to write to me or leave a comment. It will be business as usual until and while I am away, I couldn’t leave you all without your daily dose of couch lounging action now could I?
