Peaking out on a rack was the sleeve of this coat, so it was the fabric that caught my eye. It needed a dry clean, and most of the buttons were missing but I thought it was pretty special to find a tailored, pure wool coat that was made in England…for $15.
I’ve always taken the approach with clothing that it doesn’t matter the price, it’s the quality and fabric that has to be paramount. So whether it’s a designer frock or something at an op-shop, polyester is still polyester as pure wool is pure wool. I would have paid a lot more for a pure wool coat, having priced current season collections in department stores at around $500.
Can’t argue with a little op-shop gem now can we?!
