I’ve mentioned Fashiondacci on the blog before because it’s a rad Melbourne shop that is quickly becoming one of my favourites. It’s quirky, stuffed to the brim and a lot of the time you will only find one or two of an item. Once its gone, it’s gone. It reminds me of shopping on Granville Rd in Hong Kong, Far East Plaza in Singapore of Harajuku in Tokyo.
If you visit Melbourne or if you are from Melbourne and want something amazeballs to wear, you need to go to Fashiondacci.
The ring you see me wearing in the photos below on my pinkie finger was hand forged for me by Benjamin Black Goldsmiths in New Zealand. It’s the ‘Double Midi‘ ring in silver and is so teeny tiny when I took it out of the pouch I wondered if it would fit. Having what I call ‘alien hands’ however meant that it wouldn’t be a problem, once I slipped it on it fit perfectly. I think it’s something like a size 3 US. Anyhow they can make all rings to your exact sizing if you send them your measurements. It’s really a piece of art don’t you think? I can’t wait to wear it all week for fashion week.
And finally I went to Miss Fox the other day to get my nails done for fashion week and I decided to go with a design that I originally had done last year. They really are the very best in Melbourne when it comes to this kind of thing, and like Fashiondacci, the day spa is well worth a visit.
