In between meetings and parades I try to visit the various PR showrooms in Sydney so I can catch up on what is on offer from Australian designers.
Aside from the fact that they are dear friends I always love popping into Mother & Father PR because they always have loads of beautiful and interesting clothes. Last year you may remember I ended up in Eliot Ward-Fear perspex spikes.
Today I was introduced to Roxanna Zamani and Jaime Lee, both of who are young talent you will no doubt need to keep an eye on. The Roxana Lamani collection reminded me of the kind of detail I’d seen at the Valentino retrospective last year in Brisbane, in particular the delicate multi layers of organza. Divine.
It was also confirmed that I’ll be wearing a couple of dresses from Australian label An Ode To No One during the Spring Racing Carnival in Melbourne coming up shortly- but I’m not going to spoil the surprise with photos of those just yet!
